Kobold
Kobolds are small humanoids, of a similar physical size to goblins. They differ in that they tend to have dog-like faces, with prominent snouts and triangular eyes. One of the things that has assured the survival of the kobolds is that they seem to have inherited a rottweiler's temprament, as well as its facial features. They may not be very big or very strong, but they are agile and vicious, and more than one adventurer has fallen to a kobold dagger between the shoulder blades.
