Welcome to the world of Nanvaent
The world of Nanvaent is divided up into a number of regions known as Domains, which link together to form the world. Each domain is slightly different, whether it be in terrain or technology. To advance in the world of Nanvaent you probably will have to travel to many of these domains.
|
The Great Valley The Great Valley runs diagonally through the Realm from the northwest to the southeast. At its heart lies the Village of Nanvaent, where everyone begins their adventures. Surrounding the village is Draemar Wood, home to many strange creatures, including the dreaded Uruks. At the western end of the Valley lies the ancient city of Grudul, standing watch over the desert wastes beyond. |
The Western Desert Beyond Grudul, the road winds out into the Great Desert, many have entered, though few have returned. But those who have, have spoken of the oasis town of Sweetwater, located in the western reaches of the desert. Travellers speak of strange metal sticks the locals have that propel small metal lumps at high speed with deadly accuracy. |

The Central Mountains If you travel north from the Village you soon will enter the great mountain range that splits the world in two. There are many ancient tales that speak of mighty fortresses and deep mines hidden within their stoney bounds. |
The Eastern Seaboard To the east, the valley rapidly broadens out until is reaches the Eastern ocean. Here stands the City of Shamaroth under the iron rule of Lord Griecha. Beyond Shamaroth lie numerous Islands for those adventurers with sea legs to explore. |

The Northern Plains After crossing the mountains, it's not that hard, the locals have provided a reasonable road - just watch out for the bandits, you'll descend onto the northern plains. The people of the plains are not all that they seem. A wise traveller is always alert for danger. |
The Fabled Land of Mhaolain The fabled land of Mhaolain lies far to the southwest of the Village of Nanvaent. It is a bleak and desolate country with harsh weather and unforgiving terrain. Jagged, mist shrouded peaks loom over deep Glens. It is extremely difficult to get to, and sometimes it isn't there at all. |
