commands/action/lock Nanvaent Player Help

NAME
lock - lock a door or container

USAGE
     lock <object> [ with <object> ]

DESCRIPTION
After closing a door you may want to "lock" it. That should stop
others just wandering around amongst the things you've left behind.

Various containers such as chests may have clasps and therefore can be
     locked.

Most things that you want to "lock" require a key of some sorts,
and you'll usually need the right key for the right lock. A pain, huh?

CAVEATS
You can only lock closed doors...

It's usually better to be explicit when saying what you want to lock
and what you are using to lock it. "lock door with key" may fail if
you have two keys in your inventory, where as
"lock wooden door with brass key" might succeed.

Even after you've locked something, people with keys or people who
really want to get through the lock will succeed.

EXAMPLE
     > close door
     You close the south door.

     > lock door
You will need to use a key on this lock.

     > lock door with key
You try to put the silver snake key in the lock but it doesn't fit.

     > lock door with iron snake key
You insert the iron snake key in the lock, and lock the south door.

     > open door
The south door resists your attempts at opening it. Maybe it is
     locked?
